Richmond Brewery Tours offers public brewery tours on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Participants must be 21 years or older. Tours are predetermined from a list of Richmond breweries ranging from award-winners to up-and-coming breweries. Tours begin approximately at 5:30 PM on Thursday and Friday, Saturdays at 11:30 AM and 4:15 PM and 1:00 PM on Sunday. Tours begin at Richmond’s Capital Ale House, centrally located downtown at 623 E. Main St. (Alternative pick up locations are available for a fee.) Free parking is available all day on weekends and after 4 pm on weekdays in the 3rd & Cary Parkway parking lot. The turn is on the left on Main St, just after you pass 4th St. Street parking is also available on the weekends. At Capital Ale House you'll be greeted by your guide and taken through a brief lesson in the basics of beer tasting and provide an overview on RVA's local brews. Upon completion of your first beer tasting, participants will board the brew bus and embark on their three visit tour to Richmond's best local breweries. A flight of samples is included in your ticket price at each of the breweries.
A gratuity of 10-15% for your tour guide is highly encouraged upon completion of your tour.
We must meet a minimum of four participants to conduct a public tour.
Consumption of alcohol on this tour will affect your ability to drive. DO NOT, WE REPEAT, DO NOT, PLAN ON DRIVING AFTER YOUR RICHMOND BREWERY TOUR. Should you need transportation, your tour guide will be happy to provide you with information on cabs.
